The skilled trades in Germany are today facing major human resources challenges: a lack of younger skilled workers and suitable apprentices, relatively high rates of illness, little loyalty on the part of younger employees, etc. Demographic changes are further exacerbating this situation. The “PersonalMeister®” learning software developed as part of the awise project communicates the opportunities presented by demographic change in an entertaining and practice-oriented manner.
